Chance conducted the pest inspection and as usual Chance was very professional and extremely helpful. He reported my issues and Michael from Drake then came and performed the extermination of the insects.
Bobby takes extremly good care of the lawn and I'm very appreciative of the work he does.

This firm is the best, and Michael, the tech, who makes all the visits knows his stuff. He does inside, and full outside house perimeter treatments. Only a few straggler roaches pop in occasionally. They get trapped on the 5" x 8" Max-Catch sticky cardboard sheets I place here, and there, along kitchen floor-cabinet joints, and counter-top wall joints, and other floor-wall joints.

I've had another Pest Service for years and watched as my beautiful St. Augustine grass slowly withered and died. When I finally got around to investigating why that was, it became clear that my prior service used a "one size fits all" approach and did not tailor the treatments to my specific lawn.
Not only that, I was the one who raised the issue, it was nowhere to be found in the quarterly reports I'd receive. When I contacted my prior Provider to inquire, they came out and eventually replaced 1/2 of my front lawn's sod. However, given I was paying for a Service that was supposed to avoid this issue entirely and that it was me having to bring this up to them, I decided to look for another Provider. Thankfully, I found Drake and met with Chance who was very professional and explained how they tailored the treatments to my specific lawn. More expensive than my prior service, yes. However, I don't want to be spending my time with grass and weed issues and I'd prefer to pay to have the service done correctly. So fast-forward 2 months later and my grass is the envy of the neighborhood. In fact, many of the lawns here which also had grass replacement now show signs of disease and I suspect they'll just be dealing with a cycle of constant issues. Drake's Techs are super professional, walk the area before application, take pictures and provide me with a full view of what's been done and if anything is needed by me (like watering, for example). Bobby was the last gentlemen who came and really, it's just been like night and day from the previous Provider. 30% more expensive than what I had been paying.
This to me is a perfect example of, "you get what you pay for"...

I’ve been using their services since July and I’ve seen a HUGE improvement in our lawn. We still have a mole cricket problem, but their team came by and assured me they will do their best to rectify it. Regardless, I don’t see virtually any weeds and our lawn looks much healthier!

Drake and their service is bare none. The service techs (Wilfredo especially) are knowledgeable, hard working, and willing to go the extra mile to help with your needs. We had a rat issue and they were so quick to schedule a trip out, eliminate ingress points, provide traps and made follow up visits to make sure we were clear. At first I was reluctant due to cost but it was well worth the money. And thank you Wilfredo, you rock.

Tylor stopped at the door and asked me if I thought there were any specific issues going on with my lawn since my last application. We spoke about a bare spot in the rear and an area that was reported to have chinch bugs. He addressed my concerns and applied the treatment. I chose DRAKE over all the other pest companies because I was tired of the poor service from most companies near the villages . One of the lawn care specialists had serviced my lawn but ran the hose across my sidewalk and pavers and left lots of stains and I called and someone came but said they didn't have the correct cleaner but would come this week and never did. I sent an email canceling the service the next day someone came to clean the pavers and sidewalk. Stayed 10 minutes and left and still not taken care of. I was a big fan of there service until now. Not anymore. I will no longer recommend them to anyone. Poor service in this case.

Extremely pleased with the service I have from Drake. It is individually for each yard. From the sales division to the tech to the Front office, you’re treated with respect and dignity. They explained step-by-step what the problem is where it’s gonna be treated and is in colors so you could see where certain things are being treated. Very fortunate that I found this type of service as an individual need for each yard cause each yard is individually different from each other not yards need the exact same thing.. Which is really awesome. Couldn’t be happier. The initial treatments, a little bit more than the regular service and it’s a little bit more expensive than a regular Yard Service but you also have to understand treating yours is different than everybody else’s. They treat your yard like it’s the bosses yard.

I am very impressed with the service of Drake . Recently I had a visit and Francisco discovered an issue (disease) on one of my shrubs. He immediately took a photo and let me know about it and I was able to call the office. Natalie helped me with the situation, contacting Francisco who was still close to my location. He explained and recommended the service I needed to address the issue. This was a service I didn’t have a contract for. I agreed to do it and he returned back to my property to conduct the services and within 1 hour it was treated. Francisco and Natalie both showed true care and concern about my situation, and offered great customer service. They both went above and beyond to take care of matters. Thank You!

I had an outstanding experience with drake lawn and pest control! I’ve gone through so many different irrigation and pest control companies I really was at a loss as to what to do. When it came to pricing, communication, punctuality this company goes above and beyond. I had the pleasure of working with Ricky in the irrigation department and he was wonderful! After seeing the work done by Ricky he also referred me to their pest control and I had the pleasure of working with Isaac as well! I have been with Drake since we bought our house in 2021 so 5 years exactly. It has taken me 5 years to rate them because I believe a company should not be rated based on just one experience but rather the accumulation of services they have provided over a period of time. This review is overdue because I have to say that Drake and their entire crew from the Sales Rep, to the service representatives when I have called them to the technicians that take care of my lawn to the managers that have come out to take care of some issues they have encountered over the years they all have gone above and beyond my expectations. I’m not someone that likes to recommend no one but I would recommend Drake to everyone that wants their lawn well taken care off with prompt response from the management if an issue was to arise. I value good work and responsibility, and work ethic over perfection. Thank you to your entire crew for 5 years excellent service. 5 start service for sure . 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Thank you!

Been using them for a few years. They do a great job, specifically with my zoysia grass. Tried the other big name companies and they almost killed my lawn. These guys know what they’re doing. The techs are professional and knowledgeable. Jimmy & Mo have been with the company for a while; so there’s not a lot of turnover. Give ‘em a try.

Updating the stars on my review. Drake has addressed my concerns in the front yard. I am still disappointed in the backyard, and they have told me they don’t even recommend resodding so I will just have 50% dead patches back there. I think they could have trained the sales person a bit better to not even recommend treating weeds back there. (As the general manager has now recommended)
Update: Drake did contact me to walk through my property. I appreciate them taking my review seriously, but I do think some of my frustrations are still valid. I’ll be happy to update my review as I see progress in the areas they said they’d be able to treat.
I hired Drake in May to start lawn service for a house I had just purchased. The sales guy that came out to quote me was nice and gave me some helpful tips about my lawn. He was a bit pushy and pushed for an answer right then. Nonetheless, I decided to start lawn service with them. In the beginning, I did have some irrigation issues (before they claim thats the reason my lawn looks like this today) but I have since solved the issue temporarily while I save to invest in better irrigation.
Since May, my lawn has deteriorated quickly with huge patches of weed coming up weekly. In addition, I have sod worms in the backyard, and have mentioned this to the service tech, and meanwhile they have eaten through half of my grass. I think that I had reasonable expectations that it may take a while to have my lawn looking great, but I didn’t expect my weed problems to get SO much worse after hiring Drake.
There were sections of my lawn that were 100% weed, and after a couple of treatments all the weed had been killed off. Since then, the weeds have grown back twice as bad.
I’m very overwhelmed by how bad my lawn looks and fear that Drake has put me closer to needing to resod than I was 6 months ago.
